This site does not currently use affiliate links. If we add them, this page changes first: an affiliate link would be one where we may receive a commission if you buy something, and the price you pay would be the same either way.
What it does not affect
- Whether a role is covered. We choose guides because people ask about the job, not because something related to it pays.
- What a guide says. An assessment is not softened, sharpened, or reordered because of an affiliate relationship. Where a role is a poor fit for most people, the page says so.
- What we recommend. If we suggest a book, course, or piece of equipment, it is because it is the thing we would point a friend to. We do not rank by commission rate.
What we do not accept
No paid placements. No sponsored guides. No fees from employers, recruiters, or training providers to be featured, and no payment to remove or change a critical passage. Inbound offers of this kind are declined.
How to tell
If affiliate links are ever added, they will be marked where the platform requires it, and any page containing one will carry a disclosure near the top as well as here. Links to sources — government data, licensing boards, professional associations — will never be affiliate links.
